This report is based on discussions held at the Health Innovation Forum (HIF) 2021, held on 9 June, 2021, in Tokyo, Japan. The theme of the Forum was: What does a sustainable healthcare system mean and what is the role of innovation? More than 400 participants joined digitally, including representatives from Japan's government, payers, industry, healthcare systems and patient advocacy groups.
